For Roaches Line RV Park: Don't stay here.

We asked not for a gravel pit/yard. Good thing. Lots of mud.
After spinning tires up a steep hill in 4x4 what we got was a sloped, ungraded lot. We backed in as far as we could at an angle to barely create a downhill slope to reach the broken sewer pipe at the back.
Garbage, broken debris, cigarette butts. No money to fix things is one thing, having pride in ownership is another. Suspect it was the same spot Peggy had back in 2013, only the place is worse now. Wifi useless and no one around. Should have looked first, but it's raining and we're tired.
Should have listened to Peggy from St. Francisville, LA!
Gone the next morning.
Going north passed from here there looks to be a good campground on Hwy 75, Bay Roberts exit. It's not on Allstays map.

Peggy

For Roaches Line RV Park: The good: ?our site was large and backed up to trees and huge rocks. ?Our cat loved it. ?She actually gave us ?2 sites, ?although one was too small for most anything. ?Water pressure is good, and all hookups worked well. ?The bathrooms and laundry were clean and in good order.

The bad: ?The water has to be boiled before drinking. ?The WiFi works about half the time, except on really cloudy days. ?Making a reservation was a 2-day ordeal, since there the manager is seldom in the office--not good for travelers "from away". ?But then there are very few travelers in the park. ?Most are seasonal, some even own the sites and come on weekends--although I can't imagine why. ?We lost electricity the morning we left; there are no breakers on the box, so we never knew why.

The ugly: ?The roads in the park are terrible, full of potholes and washed out in places. ?The grades are so steep we had to watch our truck bed carefully to make sure it wasn't hitting the trailer.

I would not stay here again.
