For Turquoise Trail Campgrounds: My husband and I are pretty easy going and don’t usually complain. But the experience we had here wad really bad. We made reservations for a 25ft pop up camper. When we arrived we were escorted to very short spot under a tree that was probably only 12 feet deep if that. We could not even fully open our pop-up. The neighbors had taken our picnic table as they probably had around 20 people at their campsite. They were very noisy. Their kids ran through our campsite numerous times and their dogs were nit on leashes. Do you self a favor and drive into Albuquerque and stay at the KOA or, if you’re heading east, just keep trying until you find another place.

Paul Parish

For Turquoise Trail Campgrounds: Very quiet relaxing park. Very good place to stay especially in summer because higher elevation about 10 degrees cooler than Albuquerque. Just an electric&water hookup pleasant place to hang out.

Ashley

For Turquoise Trail Campgrounds: This was an ok local weekend getaway location. There was no defined space to walk our dogs. Our lot had a leaky water line and terribly uneven end space. WiFi was spotty at best. This is a no frills campground that is mostly long term residents. We did enjoy being in the mountains. The park was quiet, even on a weekend. We would probably stay again knowing that it’s the Motel 6 of campgrounds.

For Turquoise Trail Campgrounds: Horrible ambiance. No space between rigs. Lots of dog feces at our site I had to clean up. The showers closed at 3pm for cleaning. Can’t wait to get out of here in the morning. Ugly place

For Turquoise Trail Campgrounds: We’ve been to this park twice and would stay again. Manager Emily and staff member Autumn are very genuine and nice people. They were having electrical problems so it was scary to leave the dogs alone while out running errands but they reimbursed us for a couple days to offset the pretty big inconvenience of unreliable electric (some days it wouldn’t stay on). They have plans and permits in to revamp the electric though. We’ll be back! Pretty views out over the mountains and close enough to ABQ to not feel in the boonies.

Leslie

For Turquoise Trail Campgrounds: Spaces are gravel, but level. Electric is good. Water pressure is 18-21 PSIG. Showers require tokens. Internet is 2.5 MBPS. No over-the-air channels. No cable tv. Hiking trails available to monthly renter only.
