For Clear Creek Campground: This is a beautiful campground at about 9000 feet - so it's very cool in summer. Tall ponderosa and douglas fir rim the campground, but the campsites are open and sunny for the most part (shadier ones can be had). The sites are wide and paved and spaced far apart.
The drawbacks are lack of water to fill and RV. There is a pump for water but it's not adequate to fill an RV tank. There are no hookups and no dump station. But for primitive, quiet camping, this is a great campground
