For Bar S RV Park: This was an unplanned overnight stop so we chose a park near a truck stop on the interstate. Signs on the interstate provided good directions. We stopped early in the day because of high winds and temperature. The office manager was pleasant and efficient even though we did not have a reservation. The grounds were nicely landscaped. The site was very level hard pack, pull-thru, with nicely trimmed trees providing a bit of shade. The electrical hookup was clean and well placed. My EMS showed no problems. Water was also clean and well placed with good pressure, no leaks. We did not use the sewer connection, but it looked fine. $28 for level PT site with FHU. We did not use shower/bathroom, so can’t rate it. We got a DISHTV satellite connection easily, so did not use the park’s cable TV hookup. Verizon cell connection was good. The laundry is in the office with couches, TV, an exchange library, and nice restroom. Appliances were well maintained and cost $1.50 per load. The office manager exchanged our bills for quarters, no problem. She also sells snacks and cold drinks. Truck stop with cafe is a few blocks down the street. Very nice RV park we will visit again.

For Bar S RV Park: My husband and I stayed at this park on a Wednesday night at the end of May. The park is close to I-40 so it is easy access to and from the freeway. When we checked in we were greeted by Renee, the office manager, who is a lovely, and friendly lady. The park is quiet and we could not hear the freeway or train. The sites are full hook-up……. water, power and sewer, and they are level gravel. We met Darren the owner and he was a very nice gentleman as well. We used the laundry which is inside the office, so it is not open 24 hours, and closes when the office closes. There are three washing machines and four dryers. We used the men’s bathroom/shower that is open 24/7. There is one toilet and one shower in it. The bathroom and shower was clean, and In fact, the entire park looks neat and clean. In the office I noticed that there is a coffee machine so you can serve yourself. Overall it was a nice overnight visit and I would definitely stay here again. Rob

For Bar S RV Park: Rated this 5 star as this is the very best option in Grants area! Park is close to old Hwy 66, train line and interstate 40 but is amazingly quiet! Staff very helpful, sites are big and park is easy to get in and out of. And paid $28/nite for 30 amp service ! Definitely will stay here again

For Bar S RV Park: Trees! A very nice little park! It is near the freeway but the trees seem to muffle the sound. The manager was very pleasant and at $30 I felt we got a real bargain the way RV park prices are these days. We are a 35’ Class A with tow and they had a nice pull thru for us. Definitely stay here again.

For Bar S RV Park: Easy in, easy out. I think we paid $25.00/night. The park manager was very nice. Great for one or two nights. Would stay here again.

For Bar S RV Park: Clean. Simple. Good stopping grounds for transition to the next place. Late Night Check In. Affordable. Pull thrus. Little dog run. Good water. Good sewer. Good power. It’s is next to a train but I wouldn’t say it runs often or too loud. Next to a horse corral and down the street from a truck stop area. Would stay again. Solid 4 star!
