For Coachlight RV Park: AVOID AT ALL COST. Stay at a local Walmart if you can. Area infested with homeless and drugs. Robberies, shootings, overdoses daily thing at hotel right next door (Coach light, operated by same management) If you must stay here, don't leave valuables in your rig and double lock everything. And don't believe their website, WiFi, toilets, and pool haven't been open in years (Always renovations)

For Coachlight RV Park: OK, this is one of those RV Parks where the ratings are all over the place and there is a reason. Everyone expects something different from an RV Park. Some only want to stay in RV Resorts but like a cheap price. Something has to give and in this case a little give and take is necessary. It is a Passport America Park so PPA members can stay for 1/2 price, and I like that. No it is not a resort, yes there are some permanent residents, but it is well maintained, clean, safe and has LOCATION. It is worth every penny Passport America members pay. I have no clue about any amenities because we do not use things like the restrooms, showers, wifi, pool etc., They have level sites, FHU with 50-amp and it is safe. They deliver what I expected. We have stayed there multiple times and will continue to do so.

For Coachlight RV Park: Old run down park, but spaces were large and level, gravel. Electricity worked. Not scenic for sure. We used passport American for $25. Staff were rough but friendly. Fine for an over night stop, but lock things up.

For Coachlight RV Park: Where to start? Try this: AVOID THIS PARK! After making a reservation weeks in advance, we arrived to find ourselves assigned to a site roughly half as long as we need. Oh, and the electrical pedistal didn’t work! A “maintenance” worker tore into it and after 3 hours pronounced it “good to go”. Not so...our Power management system kicked us off with a voltage issue. After a round of testing the upside down 50 amp receptical, with the same result, the “maintenance” person left. That was the best decision yet in my opinion. Add to this a rundown, derelict environment, and the $45 per night fee is ridiculous! So we sit here with no power, unable to obtain satisfaction from management, who have strangely disappeared, and marvel at how much the park has deteriorated over the 3 or 4 years we’ve stayed here. Never again.

Gary

For Coachlight RV Park: This park is OK to stop overnight. Easy access to I-10, sites are large and level, utilities work fine although the sewer connection is in a raised area with a little curb and was a tiny bit higher than the discharge on my RV. Not a big deal, the hose just stays 1/2 full of water from the shower and doesn't blow over and off the hose support. There are some old campers here in various stages of home-spun repairs but there's no reason to stress over that. Also, everybody here was friendly as could be. Check-in was quick and easy. It's worth the Passport America price but full price would be a bit high. We've stopped here before and will again if it fits travel plans.

For Coachlight RV Park: Nice for one day. No amenities but good services (water, 50 amp. and sewer).

Fulltimer

For Coachlight RV Park: Place is run down and extremely overpriced. AFTER I inquired about their Passport America price, was told their nightly rates were $60 and PA price was $29! This is far from a $60/night park but all other RV parks were full so not any other option. Office staff was friendly. FHU worked fine but WiFi was useless which is true of most RV parks. Pool is out of order and perhaps the restrooms as well. Would not stay here again.
