For KOA Journey Las Cruces: Nice park and friendly staff. All gravel with level sites and some small trees. The pool area is nice and well maintained. The view sites are well worth it and offer a nice view of the city lights.

For KOA Journey Las Cruces: No power when we arrived and no emergency contact number. We left to stay somewhere that was safe and that could provide the services they advertised. Campground owner Leah refused to offer even a partial refund to us even though we didn't stay and due to the blackout. Avoid this Campground at all costs. The owner doesn't care whether her guests can sleep safely or use the services she can't provide. It's all about fleecing travelers sadly.

Canuck

For KOA Journey Las Cruces: Spectacular view looking out over the city and valley. Easy in/out with no road noise from I-10. Sites and roads are all gravel. Sites are well spaced but some are shorter than others. WIFI was finicky and difficult to access during busy times. Cable was probably analog. Lots of craft breweries in town. Quite liked the area.

Pat

For KOA Journey Las Cruces: Easy on and off from I-10 with no interstate noise overnight. Stayed in one of the least expensive pull through sites just behind the office (too expensive for the value, in my opinion). Sites in this section are so short that you cannot stay hooked up if you’re just here for overnight. Sites are very close together. WiFi knocked us off constantly. There are numerous cable channels but they are a poor quality of analog. The view over the city is spectacular and be sure to watch the sunset facing east! There is a gazebo in the northeast corner that is public and you can watch from there without being on anyone else’s campsite. Las Cruces is a fun place to spend a few days.

Arkiteki

For KOA Journey Las Cruces: Very friendly and helpful staff. Gave great recommendations. We had an amazing view site and it was very spacious. Clean facilities. Only downside to having a back-in view site, for some odd reason , other people felt ok about entering our site and hanging around talking loudly while we were inside working (We paid extra for the site, and it’s obnoxious, don’t do this please!). We had great internet and cable was fine, but we don’t watch tv much. T-Mobile and Verizon work well here.

Steve

For KOA Journey Las Cruces: Got in after the office closed, grabbed a "prime spot", the wind shifted and a smell blew in with it. About midnight it was so bad I had to look for the source. Just over the edge from the camp ground there is a open 1/4 acer septic pond for the camp ground. The stench in our trailer was terrible even with out A/C and air freshener. Told the lady, ( owner or manager I think)at the front desk this morning, she absolutely could care less. Nice view if you can breath through your mouth. Drive on if you can.
