For Town and Country RV Park: We were placed in the older section of the camp grounds which sites were okay for the most part. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were clean and maintained. Staff are very helpful. The campgrounds are on the outer edge of town with open fields which creates a concern for high winds.

For Town and Country RV Park: Imagine a big prison yard made of cement and gravel with rules posted everywhere. The sun is beating mercilessly on a treeless, dry barren land. You have arrived at your destination. The pool is empty of water (May 23rd). It is unkept. One wall of the the clubhouse is covered by a gigantic rules and regulations sign. It is hardly inviting. You can not go in on your own. A staff member must escort you in. When checking in, the rule book is an inch thick and the threat of a $100 fine is persistent throughout the text. When walking your dog, you are reminded every 10 feet that you are under surveillance. I feel I should be wearing an orange prison jump suit with shackles around my ankles.

Jean

For Town and Country RV Park: He stayed here and our 31 foot class C one night while visiting Roswell in April 2021. Big note during Covid their restrooms are closed, and that’s not anywhere in their online information. They have a lot of rules, including no rigs over 10 years old, they didn’t ask us about the age of our rig, which is a 2006, it sounds like they don’t want any really old or jury rigged equipment. The dog run was 50 feet long so our border collies could run and chase balls, which we really like. Newly paved roads, and tidy gravel lots. No trees. They also have a list of barred dog breeds, however you think about that, it’s a really extensive list. Overall it was fine for an overnight quick in and out, but it really bugged us that they weren’t letting people know their restrooms are closed, and there wasn’t really good Wi-Fi even though it was a pretty small RV park.

Rita

For Town and Country RV Park: I was there for 7 days in June, 2019 and enjoyed my stay. Pull thru for my 22’ Coleman was great on gravel, level with a tree and picnic table and grill. Dog area behind club house was big and grassy. Dog areas where I was parked were small and one was closed. Bathrooms and laundry room were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Hinton the Trail

For Town and Country RV Park: We stayed in the newer part of the park and our experience is based off of that. The older part is still in good shape but is closer to a main road so it would be louder. First off, the staff were very nice and helpful. We had a LOT of mail being delivered over our time and regardless of how many times we offered to come pick it up, they delivered. The bathrooms and laundry areas were immaculate and had good water pressure. There is a pool but we stayed in October and it’s not heated so no swimming. The sites are gravel and are large enough to accommodate just about any size of RV/trailer. The only gripe we had is the sites are set up so that you step out your door and face your neighbor. Regardless, the sites are wide so you have some space in between. Park WiFi was ok but we had such great coverage with our Verizon MiFi that we didn’t use it. The park is located a on the south side of town so you have about a 10-15 min drive to some of the shopping and restaurants. Regardless, we wouldn’t even look at staying anywhere else if we come back to Roswell.

Ssobobo

For Town and Country RV Park: Very clean park. Bathrooms and laundry rooms kept clean. They have a Club House with events during our stay. The pool was never to crowded as was the fenced in dog park. The pull thrus are easy to get in, we have a 36 foot with toad. They have Good WiFi and cable. The only two things I had a issue with is they like to clean the restrooms at a time when most people like to take their showers and they need a change machine for the laundry room.

Richard

For Town and Country RV Park: All I can say is this was not worth the mony... Can't use the restrooms if you stay more than a week... My disabled daughter has a hard time in the RV shower, this is why we stay at parks with shower facilities. But after our first week the codes didn't work, so my wife had to help our daughter bath in the RV. I think that this violates the NM state Restroom Access Act... Either way, I won't be back. My family and I will stay anywhere but here. If I could give this less than 1 star I would.
