For Shubie Municipal Campground: July 2023: Convenient campground for exploring Halifax. Serviced by Uber, taxi, and Door Dash. I give it 5-stars for convenience, but 2-stars as a campground. Sites are extremely close together; no sewer (but they do have a free non-daily honey wagon service every 2-3 days that you can request). Campground, including roadways and sites, is more mud than gravel. We stayed for 3 days, mostly inside with the curtains closed; every morning we got an Uber and headed for town, returning late. It was perfect for that, but not a place I would want to hang around a lot. Would stay again because of location if exploring Halifax.

For Shubie Municipal Campground: Sept 2021 Nice campground. Typical size sites for an RV park. Great for getting to Halifax waterfront. Turn onto Waverly and go to very end to the parking lot of the ferry terminal. No RV parking. Better then driving.

For Shubie Municipal Campground: Municipal Campground. Some traffic noise. Ideal location to tour Halifax, Peggy's Cove. Manager has a wealth of information about the area.
Facilities are clean. Gravel/grass sites. W/E are on majority of the sites. Two dump stations.
My only complaint is the circuit breaker tripped for my site. We had the AC and refrigerator on. Left for 4 hours. When we returned, it was 85 degrees in the RV. Dogs were hot. Thank goodness we returned when we did! Maintenance guy said "it was because the wiring is old"!
