For Campers Haven Campground: DON’T EVER CAMP HERE. The owners are as rude as hell and told my family member to basically F off when he came to visit me yesterday. He was told that no visitors were allowed in. When we checked in we told them we have visitors going to arrive and we were not told anything. We paid for 2 nights and told them there was a good chance we would want a 3rd night as well. We left the campground when they called me from home to tell us they were not allowed in so we drove the distance to their place to visit that evening. The owner just showed up at my campsite to tell me how rude he thought my family member was. I explained that we said we had company coming when we checked in and was not told anything about no visitors. He kept yelling at me and I said it had nothing to do with me as I was not even there. His comment to me was “well it was your company”. I kept getting cut off and he basically told me “ it runs in the family and I might as well just pack up and Fing leave”. I guess that explains why there are not a lot of campers here for a long weekend. He came back about 10 minutes later saying that a partial refund was waiting for me at the office and to leave the campground. ONCE AGAIN AVOID THIS CAMPGROUND LIKE THE PLAGUE

For Campers Haven Campground: Spent one night here in early June 2020. When we arrived we were welcomed by the friendly owner. We have a 30’ camper so we had a pull through site. Campground is in a rural setting and very quiet. Some sites are full sun, no trees and other sites are wooded. All sites are close together. There is a swimming pool, showers and lots of outdoor activities. You can walk to the lake where there is a small beach. Due to poor weather there were only a couple of other campers there at the same time. All facilities were still closed so we just enjoyed the peace and quiet! I would imagine that when the campground is full, it would be a busy place and not as quiet as it was when we visited. Overall a nice place away from city lights and trains!

For Campers Haven Campground: OK campground - has seen better days - a little run down and could use some updating. Owner friendly and was a good source for local information and restaurant suggestions. Close to Yarmouth but not a lot happening in the area. Stayed 3 nights.
