For Sparks Marina RV Park: Second time we’ve stayed here, nice park and quiet at night. Walking distance to Target, a movie theater and many restaurants and shops. Recommend using Google Maps for walking instructions, Apple maps didn't do well for walking here.

For Sparks Marina RV Park: We stayed here 1 night in a 24’ Class C. We’re met by friendly and efficient staff, who led us to the site and assisted with the back-in and connections. It was a good place for an overnight. Tho sites for small transients are small and close, there was turf next to the rig and a table for picnics. We found it quiet. Restrooms clean; did not use showers or other facilities. Dog runs were large and clean, with notices posted about making sure people cleaned up after their pets. Would stay here again.

For Sparks Marina RV Park: Way too many rules and rude staff. This is my first and last stay here. Avoid at all costs. Although they do allow dogs, they are not dog friendly.

Laura

For Sparks Marina RV Park: This is an update to my two prior reviews, last one in 2019. We started coming here in summer of 2017, and we keep coming back as it was our “home base” to visit family. We have visited all of the RV Parks in the Reno/Sparks area, and for the area of its size and proximity to Tahoe and other places, the area is underserved by RV Parks in my personal opinion, making pricing and availability difficult in peak seasons (here it is during August). So, call as far ahead as you can to check on booking. Slow season is during winter, due to cold weather, but we come to see family so it works for us. The prices have substantially increased over the last few years. The park is getting a bit older and needs some upkeep, and they work hard to keep things clean and well maintained. All of the reviews on the sites and types are accurate. A sufficient email checking form of wifi is provided (not for streaming), we used our Verizon service here with no problem. Decent cable TV provided, we supplement with satellite. Staff are friendly but they do enforce rules regarding pets and speed limits. Agree pool and hot tub are small, the community room isn’t much either, but a place to hang out. You can use the nice kitchen there. We have been to one one other park to stay in Reno and find that Sparks Marina is the ONLY place to take your RV that is worth staying at if you are here.

For Sparks Marina RV Park: First impressions are always good, and this park succeeds in that. Everything looks neat and clean. We had reserved our site ahead of time so check-in was contact-less. They asked for our name, retrieved our information packet and led us to our site. The interior roads are paved with many speed bumps. They are fairly wide so they don’t knock you around too much. The sites are mostly level concrete with extra space on the side to park a car (although it is up close and personal with your neighbor’s sewer.) Sites are nearby with a small tree, picnic table, and a bit of artificial turf between them (which actually looks pretty good). It does cuts down on the mowing sounds but not the daily leaf blowers! We did notice that they sanitize when someone leaves – the picnic table and utilities. When we first arrived, there were lots of trash and recycle receptacles although they weren’t all noted on the map. Many of these disappeared after a couple days, and we were eventually notified that they couldn’t get the trash liners from the manufacturer. There are quite a few long term but sites which are mostly neat. There are a couple of junkers that they try to “hide” near the end. It is noisy with planes, trains and automobiles. Running a fan at night helped. Satellite is possible in most sites, and there is cable but we didn’t try it. No idea if the WII FI worked because our Bitdefender security software flagged it as dangerous so we didn’t use it. Verizon was odd. Sometimes we had 5g 4bars but occasionally completely lost any cell coverage. And our hot spots acted wonky. No idea what that was about! Except for the noise, it’s a very nice park and convenient for touring the area. We would return.

For Sparks Marina RV Park: This park is exactly what you would expect from a large park that is big rig friendly. The sites are paved and level, there is a small patch of grass(artificial in this case) between sites with a picnic table. The sites are close together - sewer placement is interesting as it is in your neighbors parking spot. The check in process was smooth- just pull in and someone greets you in your vehicle then you are escorted to your site. As with most parks the WiFi does not work well especially when the park is full. For some reason our AT&T cell service did not work well in the park although it worked fine in other areas of the city. Overall this is a nice clean park if you want to stay in this area

For Sparks Marina RV Park: Very nice big rig friendly park. Was contacted day before arrival to inform us we just needed to pull into the reception area and no need to dismount. On arrival check in consisted of telling them who we were, the staff then got our site welcome packet and led us to our site. Then pointed out our service connections and toad parking space. The sites are all concrete with artificial turf. My only complaint was the water bib was so low I had to use a short hose extension and it was still very difficult to get on and the sewer drop was in the middle front of our neighbors car.
