Closed for the 2018 season. They are rebuilding the water system. Lots of rules. NO PETS!!! NO ALCOHOL.

Close to NYC- both good and bad! Can be noisy. Loosely maintained, looking scruffy at end of season. Some sites are bizarre; We turned up after dark to find that our site was one of ten on a piece of ground the size of a tennis court. Literally would have had to pitch a tent within arms length of the neighbors. Avoid the sites nearest the lake at all costs!!!! Fortunately we relocated to another empty site without hassle. Didn't even see a ranger our whole visit!

Some spots are great, others are horrible like you are camping in a parking lot. I had a parking lot spot.
