For RiverView Campground: Very nice campground. The owners have improved the entire property including the bathrooms and the sites themselves. The pull-thru's are on top of the hill and are a bit tight maneuvering a big rig but are still long enough at about 60 feet. The back-ins are along the Schroon River and are nicely spaced as well. All of the campers were great to talk to and the owners left everyone alone. We would stay again.

For RiverView Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Lake George River View Campground. The campground is in the small town of Warrensburg, but the address is Lake George which is only a few miles away. Access to the campground from the interstate is very easy. Warrensburg is a small town with several good food choices and grocery store. The road inside the park is gravel and in good condition. The office was open and the people were friendly. They show you how to access your site by drawing a line on the map. We never saw any staff people after that for 2 weeks. The store has a few basic things you would need. The campground is about 50% seasonal campers. The seasonal campers are generally in OK condition. They have an area of about 4 rows in the middle of the campground and along the river for the traveling camper like us. Some are pull thrus, but the river sites are back in. Most are 50 amp full hook up. The sites are gravel and all seem to be fairly level. All have a fire pit and table. The sites are reasonably spaced. We had site 49 which was good & bad. This was an end site with big pine trees and right next to the beach. The site was on the river with a nice view. The bathhouse was open and was average. Did not see the laundry room. They have a beach area on the river and is nice. They have two garbage bin and no recycle program. The have both shaded sites and open sites. They have free Wifi which had good signal strength. they have free cable which worked good. There is slight road noise. Here was my issues with our site 49. Pine sap kept falling out of the trees and landing on everything, including my RV and car. The site was full of sand, which was difficult to keep out of the RV. The beach area can be very noisy on weekends. I feel sites N33, N34, N7, N8, K6, K7, k8, k9, k10, last is H19 are my top picks. We would go back if in the area.

For RiverView Campground: This campground has some nice sites along the river and some sites that have absolutely no separation between the trailers or any trees at all on a bear and he’ll. The sites along the river have no separation between the trailers except for about 15 to 20 feet. We had booked a four night stay but left after the first night because there were several people displaying huge political banners in front of their trailer and we didn’t like to camp in the middle of all of that. I complain to management and they refuse to do anything about it so we left. We went down and camped at the Adirondack campground on mile or two down the road and we are

For RiverView Campground: Very pleased with this campground. Clean and pleasant. The sites near the river are wonderful...they’re a bit tight and could be tricky to back in to, but completely worth the effort. WiFi is decent...5.50mbps down and 2.25mbps up. Good LTE service from both Verizon and AT&T.

Lamar

For RiverView Campground: We stayed here for 2 weeks, leaving 8/1/17. We have been full-timers for the past 4 years and this is one of the worst parks that we have stayed in, and also one of the most expensive.

The sites are very tight, the interior roads are narrow, dusty, with sharp bends lined with boulders and large potholes. They tout private ceramic showers, however they have no curbs and do not slope towards the drain. Consequently the water flows out into the shower room floor where it mixes with the dirt tracked in by campers. It is disgusting and unhealthy.

The staff was friendly, but avoid this place if possible.
