For Pinecreek Campground: I regret that I can only give this campground two stars. The first time we stayed there, it was so pleasant. It’s out in the country, and our spot backed onto an empty agricultural field, so it was very rural feeling. Also, it’s a pleasant place to hike from because there’s access to a local trail network literally across the road. Sure it was kind of dated and funky, but that was part of the charm, and the people who worked in the office were friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much that the next time we were in the Ithaca area, we stayed there again. This time, though, we had an incident that was disturbing enough that we’ll never stay there again. There’s a speed limit of 5 miles per hour through the park, and one time we drove in we accidentally exceeded it — not by a lot — we MAYBE hit 10 mph, but no more than that. We got to our spot, and a guy we had never seen before came speeding over to our spot in his truck. He got out and began YELLING at us that we had exceeded the speed limit. The problem, for us, wasn’t that he scolded us for speeding; it was how close it seemed he was to getting violent even though we apologized. It was scary enough that it ruined what would otherwise have always been our go-to campground in the Ithaca area. So just a warning: if you decide to camp here, be sure and follow the posted speed limit.

For Pinecreek Campground: Yes there seems to be a lot of permanent campers but they were kept up. We were there the week before Memorial Day weekend so can’t judge how holidays are for noise. All campsites had new picnic tables. Friendly staff! Small store off office with basic needs. Can’t judge pool as it was not open fir the season yet. We were in a 27’ fifth wheel and had a great site, #53. Would come here again if in the area. Would have given them a 5 star if they had free wifi.

For Pinecreek Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Pinecreek Campground. Depending on which way you are traveling from, you may have to drive into the town of Ithaca. Lots of traffic lights, rough roads and traffic. Also, there is a very steep curvy road that leads past the Robert Treman State Park that can be a bit hairy going up or down. We did both. The roads in the campground are gravel and there are a few pot holes that need to be fixed. The campground is near Ithaca, so there is lots to see and do. The office was open and they staff was friendly. There is a small store in the office. Basic food stuff and ice cream. All sites have a fire pit and a table. We had site 153, which is one of the few pull thrus. You drive in from the campground to your site and pull out right onto the outside road through a gate. There is one big pond in the campground, but you most likely will not have a few of it from your camp site. The campground is about 70% seasonal campers. The sites are gravel or hard packed grass. Our site was not level, so we had to put down blocks under our tires to help. Here is why only 3 stars. You must pay for Wifi and it worked most of the time. TV air antenna only gets a few channels and there is no cable. The laundry machines were too old for us to use. The pool area is very plain and was not something I would want to spend time at. The electric could not keep up with the holiday weekend. The voltage dropped below our surge guard and we had to use generator for a few days. The facility does not have enough garbage bins for the size of the campground. Bottom line is the campground will do when nothing else is available and there is not a lot to choose from in the area. If we came back, we would choose site 153 again. Here are some other nice sites. Sites 151, 150, 149 have lots of shade. Site 149 has a nice few of the big open area to the back. Sites 138 and 140 has a view of the pond. Sites 193, 162, 161 and 160 are more secluded in the corner and has shade.

For Pinecreek Campground: This is a well located campground close to may beautiful areas to explore. The spots are spacious and intertwined in a park like setting. Well maintained grounds outdo the raddy clubhouse/entertainment hall. A nice size pool is available but not much else. Seems as the owners are trying to do repairs and clean up the place. We stayed in a 38' 5th wheel for 4 days. will come back for sure

For Pinecreek Campground: Was excited to come here based on the website and reviews but wasn’t overly impressed. We were put on a Site that had a big rectangle of mud from a previous campers rug. Fire pit was in tall grass way away from Site. Shower house near me wasn’t that great. Dead tree in my site. Washer was broken.

For Pinecreek Campground: I found this campground using the best App ever created for the serious camper,,Allstays,,,, Pinecreek Campground was very close to all the state parks that feature those beautiful waterfalls you here so much about in Ithaca NY area. The owner was very friendly and cheerful,, the grounds were well maintained and the bathrooms very clean. The prices were very reasonable both at the store and the fees to camp. I will be back again and again.
