For Lake George Campsites Morgan RV Resorts: This campground does not look nearly as nice as the photos shown on their website. And even though they list WiFi as an amenity, there is an extra $5 per day charge for it that is not mentioned until you check in. There are lots of trees and shade. Our site and those around it are very uneven with a significant slope over tree roots and muddy grass. The pool was clean but full of lots of screaming children and their parents. The COVID capacity limits were disregarded. This is a good value at the Passport America rates.

For Lake George Campsites Morgan RV Resorts: This rustic facility has been well thought out and planned. Sites have privacy with trees and "woods" between and behind sites. So thankful they preserved the beauty of nature. We've stayed in some quite lovely RV resorts but this is the most expensive ever but we were desperate b/c we didn't plan ahead for Labor Day. Had to take what we could get. We were told they had only 1 site but what they didn't tell us is that if we'd wait till Labor Day, there would be dozens of sites. We arrived Sunday b/f LD. I can appreciate the 5 stars for families b/c there's so much to occupy little children but for 2 retired adults...well, we won't go back. The staff was very friendly and helpful but it was the cost for what we got.
(1) In this day and age, internet is a priority. So much of our lives depend on needing connectivity. We didn't have Verizon phone service, our MiFi service therefore no internet. In office/pool area you could see 3-4 of the campground's networks but good luck getting on one and not being knocked off. I spent hours in front of the office trying to conduct business but calls were dropped and internet was sketchy at best. This is a fairly new facility so WHY wouldn't that be provided. Having to go to office area was a tremendous inconvenience. Verizon has never let us down until this experience. (2) Our site wasn't level so we were moving around like crabs b/c we were leaning to the left. We have air bags with automatic leveling so it wasn't that we didn't get blocks just so.
(3) We were mile from office/pool/arcade which was fine. We've a very active couple so the walk for us was a benefit. For such a huge facility, there is only one area for dumpsters and that's near the office. I pity the folks farther away. They do have a massive fleet of 2 different kinds of golf carts so suppose the proximity might encourage their rental.
(3) I swim every day but can't get in the pool till 9:30 when it opens and is bombarded by children. The pool is HUGE so there oughta be room in it for a whole village but when kids are cannon-balling and I'm trying to do a swim workout.... :-(
(4) The pool is beautiful but is only 3 feet at its deepest part. A huge deterrent and disappointment.
(5) Moose Hillock doesn't acknowledge AllStays, Good Sam, etc.
(6) Despite its site rental fees, I was flabbergasted to see that the showers were for pay. Thankfully we have a shower in our coach.
(7) They DO have good cable service but they could have our cable and TVs for that matter IF we could've had wifi.

We felt very safe there and found all campers respectful of others so for young families with deep pockets, this may be a delight for you but was a disappointing let down for us. WHO, today, doesn't offer wifi besides NY State Parks but they're bare-bones and are for those who want to rough it and be off the grid. For our weekly rate (and no 'pay for 6 and get 7th free'), it was unthinkable to not have phone or internet at each site.
