For Roscoe Campsites: Mature campground, great location on the beaverkill River. Very family oriented. I’m running a 45’ class a, it is a very tight fit to even enter the grounds, but we made it. Yes, as of July 2019 the roads still have pot holes everywhere, low hanging branches that I could not get around. Sites are very uneven. Yes, new 50 amp service with cable that works. All in all, it is an acceptable experience as long as you set your expectations. Staff is friendly and the site is quiet and clean. Many families enter the river here and tune down it, campground has a bus that picks people up and brings them back. Fishing is very good in front of campgrounds.

For Roscoe Campsites: I thought I would at least give an update here. This campsite is under NEW ownership and appears to be well on the up swing. The short term sites have all new power poles and water, including 50 amp and although the sites are not all leveled out and graveled I can well imagine that is next. I am in here with a 30' class A RV and did just fine. Sits right on the river and the bath house looks upgraded as well as the store. Scott, the new owner, was there to great and was easily accessible. Give this a try, they have turned it around.

For Roscoe Campsites: Park is a dump. Seasonal sites are ok but not for short term. Short term sites dont have 50amp, no sewer, really just a place to park. Owner is hard to find and does not return calls after getting credit card number.

August 2009: Just got back from there. Campground is a dump. Apparently the website pics havent been updated in some time. On our arrival I had to call the owner to find him. Office was never open that we saw. He did drive by once. Never got any paperwork. Told us to take any site we wanted. As we were the ONLY ones staying there it was no problem. The TV hookup didnt work. The "handy boy" said it didnt work in this section. His main job seemed to be splitting wood. I did buy wood for a fire. Was so green I couldnt get it to burn even using Military compressed trioxane tablets. Bathhouse was barely usable. Water supply was a aboveground system of blk plastic hose. And the only road in and out was a very steep grade blacktop one vehicle wide road. A couple more holes and the town will probably shut it down. Too bad cause it is right on the Beaverkill River.

The seasonal section was very well maintained and looked real good. Guess thats why its in all the pics.
