For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Campgrounds where great. Nice and convenient to Air Force museum However……base security is hypocritical. For two days I was allowed to come and go as I wished dressed casually and on my motorcycle trike. Then one day as I came back to the base I wasn’t allowed access due to improper motorcycle gear. I was left at the gate to figure out how to get to proper gear!!!! Ridiculous ! As a veteran Ive had to learn that there is grey in the world of black and white. This has changed my thoughts about using family camps. No more. Done with black and white thinkers. My last day I didn’t move from the camp as I was afraid I would be a target for the military police

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Highly recommend WPAFB FamCamp. I spent two nights in late September. Clean facilities, quiet, level sites, full hookups, dog park, peaceful setting next to lake, fast WIFI. Washing machine $2.00, Dryer $1.50.

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: We stayed here for two nights in a 25ft Class C in July 2023. The sites are all paved with grass in between them. We had a full hookup. Older clean bathroom. We didn’t use the showers. Within walking distance to a lake with fishing. There was a fenced in dog park nearby. Camp hosts greeted us when we arrived. I took off a star because most sites are in the sun and the campground felt more like a parking area than a campground. Rows of campers next to each other with no privacy and little vegetation other than the grass. Good location for visiting Dayton and the local National Park and other sites. Would stay here again if in the area with the knowledge that it’s not a camping experience, just a quiet, clean , convenient place to stay.

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Stopped in for over night to visit family in the area. Beautiful camp. Extremely well maintained and host showed us to our spot and answered a few questions about the area. Shower house extremely near and clean. Beautiful lake and dock area. Bonus to see old Air Force One onnthr air field as we drove in.

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Was reading the reviews and just felt the need to respond. Not sure what Allen is talking about. The Saturday prior to Memorial Day we woke up at 3:30am with no power and it was hot. After trying to troubleshoot with no luck I decided to knock on the host door. Larry a sweared and said let me get dressed and he would be down to look at.Larry came down at 4am and was able to get our power back on. He was pleasant and said if we needed anything to please let him. It’s easy for people to get on hear and slam the host but if you had an issue you probably should of discussed with the host. In my opinion the host are doing a good job and deserve better than that B/S.

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Larry and Vicky were the absolute best. They do an amazing job of maintaining the park. When we pulled in on Saturday they were having a cookout. They immediately invited us to enjoy a couple of there hotdogs. It was a pleasure after a long drive. Dealing with all the people and problems I’m sure can be daunting at times, but we never say either of them with anything but a smile and let us know if there’s anything you need.

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: We love this FamCamp. Great location when visiting the Air Force museum. Camp host are the best always have a smile on their face and eager to assist when needed. Camp ground is outdated but they do a really good job maintaining the facilities.
