For Geneva State Park: Our first visit to an Ohio state park campground did not overwhelm. Old and depressing bathhouse, best trail closed, and no water. Seeing sun set over lake compensated somewhat, but day visitors get same view for free. Staff was great and campsites were adequate but we won't be rushing back. This no tax, no funding, no service meme that's become popular the last couple of decades sucks. I would pay more taxes to upgrade all state and national parks, which would create jobs, and make me more inclined to go out and spend, which would create more jobs, etc. But that's just me.

For Geneva State Park: A nice state park campground. The sites are easy back in, paved and level. Plenty of room between sites. Quiet and night and in the morning. The shower rooms were a little on the dirty side though. The proximity to Geneva-on-the-Lake makes this place worth every penny.

For Geneva State Park: Very quiet. Typical State Park, overused but good enough.

For Geneva State Park: After spending time in NY State Park Campgrounds - which have been recently updated - this Park although very nice seemed worn by comparison. The location is hard to beat however. Make sure to visit nearby Geneva-on-the-Lake which has apparently been identified as the #4 US small town to cisit.
