For Jellystone Akron Canton: Drove from Florida to visit a sick relative and JellyStone was the closest location to the nursing home. After checking in with a nice young man, as I pulled around to get to my spot, I looked up and saw the manager blocking the road. He apparently did not like me driving through empty pull throughs to find my way. I then spent an hour and a half cleaning the spot I was given as it had not been mowed in a long while and had multiple holes from stakes that had been removed. While I was finishing setting up, the manager's assistant told us that he did not like how I reacted to accidentally almost running him over as he stepped into the drive and that we had to leave or they would call the police. I was shocked. We are good people, have a very nice motor home, and have never been treated this way. The manager then came and said it would be best that we leave. I told him that we had just driven 12 hours and were going to see a dying relative. We had no other place to go because of the time but could not in good conscience ever pay this man and his assistant because of the way we were treated. My wife thought that perhaps he had sold the site to someone staying more than the month that we had intended and that this was his disgusting way to get us to leave. Perhaps. simply shocking....

For Jellystone Akron Canton: This is our first time at a Jellystone. I have to agree with other reviews. The pool is busy mostly due to outside traffic and the spaces are tight. I never tried the Wi-Fi. The kids had a blast, we stayed over a busy weekend and the place was packed. Lots of activities for the kids and a nice playground. The Park was clean and the staff were great. We will stay again.

For Jellystone Akron Canton: It's been hard trying to come up with a positive review of this place. The staff is friendly and helpful so that is a plus but the campground just doesn't meet my expectations of a Jellystone. First, the campground doesn't "feel" like a campground. It sits right next to a moderately busy street with heavy truck traffic and across that street are residential houses. While around our campfire at night, we were literally heckled by some teenagers driving by in a car. I thought it was funny but you get the point. Some other observations- We were here mid-week and there were only about 10 other campers in the park but the electric only peaked out at about 116v at best. I'd HATE to see a busy hot weekend with lots of electric draw. They have a strict NO outside firewood policy which I felt like was more about them making a profit then helping to not spread bugs. The Wifi is advertised and you'll get a password but I never got it to connect. The sites are very tight. My neighbors sewer drain is less than four feet from my fire ring. I have more complaints but the last and biggest is the pool. Because of the proximity of this park to Uniontown and Hartville, the pool gets very busy and used MUCH more often by "non-campers" who pay a fee to come in. I know most parks do this but this place feels much more like a city pool than a private campground. Overall, I can't say that I regret our stay but I don't think we'll be coming back again. There are better options close by.

For Jellystone Akron Canton: The staff was wonderful and they really made you feel like they were glad you were there. There were so many activites and things for the kids to do. I do wish there had been another bathroom in the camp area. We will return again someday. Thank you to everyone.yxg
