HJD

For John Bryan State Park: As much as I would like to, I could not go to 5 stars. There is no water at the site and the renovated bath house is nice but not a 5. Other than that, this is a super campground. Our second visit here both in site 29. About all the sites are paved and appear level. Very quiet. Spacing of sites is good especially on the outside of the loop. Would come back. In fact we did.

John

For John Bryan State Park: This place is great for what it is. We stayed there on a 0 degree weekend in March. Destination Air Force Museum (free and incredible). The shower house is up and brand new. It’s wide open, no trees but spacious. If you’ve never been to Yellow Springs it’s worth the experience.

For John Bryan State Park: First stay here. One night in space 29. Great level site. They’re building a new bathhouse. Should be ready for spring. No water at the sites. Didn’t explore much but the park at large looked very nice.

Ike

For John Bryan State Park: #vanlife. August. Monday stay. No one in office self check in paper work on outside office wall. It’s first come first serve so set something up to claim your lot first. (paved) Then fill out paper work and drop back off at office. Fire ring, picnic table, good amount of shade. No showers, some electric. Toilets are awful. Raccoons are crazy so lock up your food. Throw away garbage before bed. These guys are professionals. Yellow springs is an amazing town for a hippie like me. Clifton gorge is a right next door as well. good hiking there. Check out Young’s jersey dairy and petting zoo while your there.

For John Bryan State Park: Very nice, clean and quiet. This is our second stay. Very close to the national museum of the Air Force.

Push

For John Bryan State Park: Not a bad campground at all. Paved. Pull-thru sites. Lots of grass, level sites, more space between sites than at many other parks. Restroom facilities not the greatest, but not the worst by any means. Large picnic areas outside the campground with tables, bbq--some have kid's playground. Loads of trails to explore, although it's easy to get turned around because the trails are not as well marked as they could be. Park staff are friendly and very helpful. Close to Yellow Springs for eclectic shopping.
