Rosalie

For Rockwell RV Park and Campground: Arrived at Rockwell Rv. for 2 nights t6Park is clean and quiet. Several long term people but no troubles . Sites were level with gravel. Easy on easy off Hwy 44. Given a site that had trees. So asked for another. Elise in office said to pick one that works so we did Had tornados all around us Very scary. Lots of hail and thunderstorms but all worked out Park did have storm shelter. Being from CA I think I’ll take earthquakes Would stay again

Fredric

For Rockwell RV Park and Campground: We spent 2 nights here in our 25ft motor home specifically to ride our bicycles on the city bike paths. It was perfect for that because there is a gate that opens directly onto one of the bike paths in the network. I was completely satisfied with our stay. I agree with the positive statements from the other reviews, but note that the spaces are quite close together and that you will hear traffic noise, as it is conveniently located near Interstate 4. Neither of these were a problem for us.

Traveler

For Rockwell RV Park and Campground: Long (70’) level gravel pull-thru’s. FHU-50 amp. Internal roads wide enough for big rigs. Trees looked like were trimmed high. Indoor pool & hot tub. Wifi. EZ on & off I-40. Close to freeway; lots of freeway noise but was OK as we stayed only one night. Check-in was friendly. Lots of live-in’s but the live-in’s and travelers are in separate sections. Would stay here again if need an overnighter in the area.

Mike G

For Rockwell RV Park and Campground: Our usual stopover place, but, no longer. Long terms have taken over. Dogs just roam free, long term rv are mostly junk. Skip this place.

Minnie

For Rockwell RV Park and Campground: Stayed here for one night on our trip from Phoenix to NY. Staff was very nice, spaces were level but narrow. Great location for visiting OK City. Internet slow but worked, more than we can say about most places we’ve stayed. Paid $40. Facilities could use a facelift. Would stay here again.

Maze

For Rockwell RV Park and Campground: We have stayed in this park 2-3 times a year (spring, summer, and fall) for 4 years, because we visit family nearby. We pay $40. Pros: Park is at I-40 exit. Quiet and clean. Hard pack gravel sites and roads. Grass medians scattered thru park. Sites are long and level. There are sites with mature shade trees and sites with clear skies for satellite tv connections. Most sites have cable tv hook up. There are free muffins, coffee, and newspapers at the office every morning. Bathrooms and showers are large and clean. Buffalo farm has been improved. The back gate gives immediate access to a wonderful walking and biking trail maintained by City recreation. The paved trail surrounds and bisects the city. It is 80 miles long. It leads to fishing ponds and boating lakes in several parts of the city and to the “Bricktown” area. Large shopping mall on the other side of the interstate with many restaurants and fast food places as well as a Walmart. Also a large RV center with supplies, bulk propane, parts, service, and sales. Cons: Sites are narrow. Park is usually full. Hookups are old. Check electrics for polarity and low voltage. Recommend a water filter. Laundry is heavily used and neglected.

Karri

For Rockwell RV Park and Campground: In response to the theft from a previous tenant. My husband stays at this park long term and we had a note about this incident put on our doors to watch out for your neighbors. Plus they put out a $2500 reward for information and report of the theft. The laundry/pool/hot tub are some times during but the staff needs to be notified. The Wifi does suck though.
