For Pancake Bay Provincial Park: Potential beautiful park. Huge! Didn’t see much pride though. Brush piled in the woods. Electrical drops in the middle of the woods.

For Pancake Bay Provincial Park: Beautiful forest campground. The sites backing on to the beach with a view of the lake and sand dunes are nice and spacious. There is road noise from the TCH but it tails off after dark. The speed is 20km in the campground and is necessary as the roadways wind through the big trees. There are some power sites. The central garbage and recycling isn’t convenient!

For Pancake Bay Provincial Park: Our family has camped at Pancake a few times a season for the last several years. The campground is along the transCanada highway and unless you are on a lake front site you will hear the traffic. The beach is great and is the main attraction.
You can commute to the park from Sault Ste. Marie. An easy drive about 45 minutes.
Supplies (groceries, gas, ice cream, etc.) are near by at Agawa Indian Crafts, Canadian Carver.
The sites are small and not brushed out too well. Last year we booked a pull through that was supposed to hold a 25' trailer. We have a 23' and could not park both the trailer and truck on the site. I ended up backing out of the site as there was not enough room to pull through.

For Pancake Bay Provincial Park: Awesome campground. Many sites have power near by. Bring an extension cord. What I liked, is that there is a "no audio" zone if wanted. Basically a quiet zone. Amazing beach also.

For Pancake Bay Provincial Park: Location location location ... Not very big rig friendly ... some sites are but a lot with no electric or other services... dirt, grass and gravel, level and safe . Excellent beach. Very few sites have view of Lake Superoir. Heavily wooded. An older park... #HisRoadTrip www dot HisRoadTrip dot com
