Donald Ellig

For Rochester Place Resort: Yeah it is pretty pricey, in 2015 I lost my wife May 16th and mind you it took me a long time to deal with this I didn't camp at all, I asked to see if I could get some type of a discount for following year and they said no what a heartless company that runs this place, the previous owners what took them 35 years to build was destroyed in a year and a half.

Camper

For Rochester Place Resort: Stayed there recently. Had issues hooking up to sewer and had to buy an additionl hose to reach . It appeared the seasonal camper behind us built his deck and garden partially on our lot. We had 2 sites and the both flooded every time it rained. Not enough children's activities. No camp store. The park staff friendly and the seasonal campers very nice. Golf course is beautiful and a great spot for boating but not the greatest campground.

Aspiring Pro Golfer

For Rochester Place Resort: We were golfing and camping over the weekend and found the grounds and facilities fantastic at Rochester Place. The golf course was in great shape and the new outdoor patio at the restaurant was a great place to spend the evening.

Angry Camper

For Rochester Place Resort: For a campground to go from $1900.00 per season to $3000 for nothing is the least of my complaints. The new owners run the place like a Nazi Camp. It is either their way or the highway. The will not listen to any questions or concerns, they lie about if you have a problem they say it is being dealt with even tho it is not. They are having a kids program at a rate of $375 per kid for golf instruction and they are including everything that is on the campground side (swimming lessons, arts and crafts, rainy day movies,etc...) So being a seasonal camper does that mean my kids will be excluded from any of these activities. Also there are going to be who knows how many kids running around the campground that are not campers who know what kind of trouble there will be. They said at the end of last year that we can go into the campground at any time to check on our trailers etc.. but to find out that they have closed the grounds to everyone 2 weeks prior to it opening.
