For Ponderosa Campground: If I could give a zero I would The listings for this campground are outdated. They don't have 2 pools, only 1, the other ones is now filled in. It's finally open after a 3 year closure but it closes before the Labour day weekend Virtually zero activities for the kids, if you bring them they will be bored stiff. The park is old and outdated. The game pavilion floor collapsed 2 summers ago and has not been fixed. Half the sites are not occupied and they are now overgrown. Most of the residents are ok because there are almost no kids around. There are 5 "premium" sites, all 5 are in swampland that the owner will mislead you about, literally 1/3 of the site has permanent moss/wet ground. Nothing was done or rectified, no refund offered, just a break on the next year's fees. I even paid for my own gravel to somewhat level the site and cover the brownish water bubbling up. The power goes out intermittently The water goes off occasionally. There is no staff. The owner and his niece and 2 park residents who are part time are the only workers. The owner threatened to kick me out because I questioned him about his cabins. There are 5 rental cabins and I enquired about renting one for my sister on law, I was told they aren't for rent, except he does rent them out, just to people he likes, when questioned about why people were in them the day after I was told they weren't open I was threatened to be kicked out. Worst camping experience in 25 years. There are some nice people but they can't make me stay.

For Ponderosa Campground: I would give this place a 0 if i could, pool not open, playgrounds are old and in poor condition, Manager and most of the residents are drunks, and Management reserves the right to kick you out at anytime regardless of if your a resident or a transient camper without refunding any of your money. The worst i have ever stayed at.
