For Fort William Historical Park: Great place to stay if you are visiting Thunder Bay. Sites are pretty level and a decent size. There are no trees, so there is not a lot of privacy. Water and electric hookups were very good, and the dump station is very handy. Showers and toilets for campers are in trailers. Ok, but not great. They can get very hot. Bathrooms in the visitor center are much nicer.

For Fort William Historical Park: Great staff! Checked in 15 minutes before offices closed and they were very helpful. Lots on green field with good space between units. Very few campers. Quiet overnight. Only overnighted. Wish we had a couple of days to explore park and activities.

For Fort William Historical Park: Nicely landscaped campground in easy walking distance to Fort William Historical Site. Two sites share a water/power pole but good spaces between doubles. Picnic table and fire pit for each site but hard to figure out who's was who's. Very open with lawns throughout. Nice breezes in the afternoons. Great to have 50A power. Our post had only one water spigot so need a splitter. Best free wifi we've had in ages. Dump station nearby and easy to access. Only negatives were washrooms and showers very poorly maintained. And, remember to have mosquito repellant! Check in at on site Visitors centre on arrival for camping package.

For Fort William Historical Park: Wonderful setting but odd how there isn't full hookup available. Water and 30/50 amp service but no sewer. The ground isn't solid rock so running sewer at the same time should be simple? There is a dump station which is also on the wrong side of the road on exit. odd? All in all, a good place to stay for a couple nights. The Main office building is where you check in but nowhere does it say the simple words you look for on check in. They are "check in or camp site registration." Odd again.
