For KOA Holiday Thunder Bay: Nice clean campground, helpful friendly staff. Wifi available and easy to access location. Highway noise, but not a big deal. The main reason for 3 stars: we arrived September 13th in the “off season” and they still charged us $5 / child even though pool is closed and no additional activities happening. We didn’t have a choice on our site, as they picked for us. It was a beautiful level pad with 50 amp, fire pit, lounge chairs and patio set with swing… but boy did we pay for it ($90 + $15 for 3 kids plus tax in the off season). The park is almost empty and we could have fit on a cheaper 30 amp site (we have 40ft 5th wheel) but again they picked for us and said nothing else would fit. Hard to swallow the cost when we don’t even get the benefits of the activities of the campground.

For KOA Holiday Thunder Bay: 3 Stars for Allstays Review. Stayed 4 nights. This is a KOA (Holiday) with nice grounds overall. Staff was exceptional, helpful / service oriented. Site 27 was fine but unlevel front to back (needed blocks for coach front wheels). Grass with some gravel (could use more). Store very well stocked with on-site grill for food. Bathhouse was clean and well maintained. Laundry room nice (6 washers / 6 dryers). Cable TV but only 6 channels. Only real negative was Wi-Fi. Advertised for our site but was non-existent at site. Could only get by walking to office. Otherwise this would have gotten a higher rating. Would stay here again.

Jason

For KOA Holiday Thunder Bay: Way overpriced! More of a large parking lot than a campground , for almost $75.00 a night I would expect more. Not even that much for a beautiful spot in the mountains in Jasper

Amy

For KOA Holiday Thunder Bay: This was a great park!!! So clean, very nice people that were running it, nice huge park, the swimming pools were heated, and they have a mini putt. We only stayed one night as we passed through, but it was the first site that I was sad to leave and wanted to stay longer. Koa’s are a lil more expensive compared to private parks but so so worth it!!

For KOA Holiday Thunder Bay: They claim to have Wifi but we were unable to ever get on it, even at 4:00 am!
