For Tumalo State Park: Good: Very clean park, the hosts do a great job cleaning out sites. Quiet hours were observed on this busy weekend. Close to Bend and shopping. Not so good: Road noise is bad during the day and early evening. Kids dart out on bikes so be careful. If coming South on the 97 to get here and you follow signs to the Park, you have to cross all four lanes of a very busy US Route 20 where cross traffic does not stop. Bad: Hosts take the one or two pieces of wood campers leave for the next camper. We asked one host why as we thought they were re-selling it, and they told us they take the wood so they don’t have to buy any. This bugs me as we’ve left a piece of firewood as a courtesy for the next camper for years not for the host. We would stay here again, but only if there were no other options in the area.

For Tumalo State Park: What a beautiful park! Best public showers I’ve ever experienced! Spacious, clean, plenty of hot water; even a heat lamp in each private shower. Friendly host and staff. Would definitely stay here again. Only 5 miles from Bend.

For Tumalo State Park: Great clean sites and well manicured camp ground. Fit pits, clean bathrooms and showers, paved parking , great hiking and 20 mins from Bend
