For Brookings RV Park: Tucked tightly away from the traffic noise of 101, and a short walk from a back entrance to Harris Beach SP (An awesome park if you can stay. We could not get space), this park is a poor choice but a workable alternative. Managers are very nice and helpful. It's well landscaped, and there's some shade in some spots late in the day. Only back-in spaces are available that I can see. There's 8 paved, level slots for traveling rigs from 25 to 35 feet. All have 30/50A full hookup and TV feed. The rate for us was $36. It's very crowded / close. No tables, and barely enough room to deploy the awning if I wanted to. The full time residents can be a bit crude, and the dogs bark a little, but mostly it's dead quiet. They only have 2x2 washer dryer when everything is working (one washer inop today, and the total # of slots here is over 30). This is American today it seems; it's kinda sad to see folks living this tight full time. We'll walk to the park, get our day off the road, wash our sheets early, and move on. I write this only to help folks know what's here; no illusions. I feel safe here; but it's not a place I'm happy to be in.

For Brookings RV Park: We pulled in here for the night due to RV problems. Managers were nice and helpful. This park is not family friendly(check the rules for children). Most of the reseidents looked like long term tenants and were retired. It was good for a last minute stop and good to pull out at first light.
