For Crater Lake RV Park: The two stars are for location and internet which was excellent. Rig size given at time of reservation means nothing at this campground and it is not big rig friendly. We are in a 41’ motorhome towing. We were put on a site with so many overhanging limbs we couldn’t back in completely or put out the slides properly. The camp host escort who pointed at the site from his golf cart and then drove off, later said trim what was needed but he had no way to do it! We asked if we could move one site over to a more open site and were told NO. Yet that site remained empty our first two nights and was then occupied by a tiny travel trailer that departed the same day we did. Clearly they simply did not want to even try to accommodate us. When a park says they accept big rigs it’s not just site length to be considered, it is also height and width. Tree branches throughout the park scraping roofs and sides is unacceptable. The park itself needs serious TLC and maintenance. What a mess and totally uninterested management.

For Crater Lake RV Park: This is the nicest well kept campground we have ever stayed in. The bathrooms and laundry rooms are impeccably clean. The owner and camp host go out of their way to make everything perfect. The sites are adequately spaced. There is shade and sunshine everywhere! And best of all it’s very reasonably priced. There is road noise from the highway but it is not rediculous. They give you a map of local places to visit. We have iPhones and was unable to make or receive phone calls but we could make calls with fb messenger and FaceTime. If I lived closer I would definitely be back!

Steven

For Crater Lake RV Park: Very enjoyable 3 day stay; staff and campers very helpful and friendly. With the exception of a few camp hosts, this seems to be a true RV Park. If you can’t reserve the spot you want in the National Park’s Campground or want a quiet more relaxed environment, this campground is a very good alternative. Restaurants, groceries and gas in local area plus several waterfalls minutes from site (parking area & short easy hike). There is also fairly large lake/reservoir with picnic area and lakeside trail accessible from the campground. Toilet/Shower facility was very clean and welcome alternative to our cramped trailer bathroom. Rate was exceptional value; only regret is we did not book a longer stay.

For Crater Lake RV Park: Stayed here 2 nights. Excellent campground. Really nice and professional people. Level paved sites, reasonable price. Full hookups. Trails to walk on and 25 minutes to Crater Lake. Bathrooms are super clean.

For Crater Lake RV Park: Some sites are very spacious, others are not. We were put into site #3 in which we shared the wall with the bathrooms and showers. The bathroom and shower facility appears to be brand new, very nice. A water main broke within an hour of our arrival. Luckily we were boondocking the night before and had water in our tanks as it wasnt fixed for almost 4 hours. Close proximity to Crater Lake. Trails to the Rogue river right from the RV Park. Park was clean and the rates were reasonable.

For Crater Lake RV Park: Nice place, clean. Some sites were spacious others not so. We had pie at Becky’s restaurant. Very very pricey! You could do better buying a pie at Walmart for one tenth the cost. I had apple pie. Not homemade like they say.

The Lights

For Crater Lake RV Park: Very nice campground in a beautiful section of the park with a pleasant drive up to Crater Lake. The sites were large and spaced out well. It was very peaceful with some nice walking trails and no road noise. Wifi was outstanding and was by far the best speed that I have seen anywhere. AT&T cell coverage was sufficient although many spots towards Crater lake it was no good. The staff were excellent, pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.
