For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: Very expensive for this area ($48-$60)... probably the highest around. But what you get is very mediocre. No pool, closed hot tubs, gravelly not-so-level back-in sites with no fire ring... and in general a park that's quite worn down. It's one good point is a short walk to the beach. Got up to take a shower in the am... all showers were COLD (not lukewarm, icy cold). Couldn't wait, so stopped to inform them on my way out... and ask for some kind of credit for the shower I didn't get. The manager completely refused to consider any at all. I, for one, won't be coming back here.

For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: Told that we had. 35 ft back in site- only if you count the ditch behind us. Told that there was a hot tub. - not for us. - taking a shower in cold water is not fun Paid $ 47 for this. We are only a one nighter. The buildings are new- the staff good. What more do we want? Don’t advertise stuff you don’t have.

For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: Good: Friendly staff, easy walk to the beach, inexpensive with Passport, brewery and pub with good beer across the street. Not so good: Bathrooms were tired-looking. Be sure to bring flip flops for when you step out of the shower! And if you do laundry, it takes 2 rounds in the dryer. Grounds were a bit muddy, but heck, it's winter.

For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: This place is in a great location with an easy walk to the beach. There are miles of beautiful coastline both north and south to explore from here and many beautiful hiking paths. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The little local bar across the street serves some decent bar food and the people are friendly. The park itself is well used and was a little muddy. Despite the fact that there are bags and disposal sites all through the park people did not seem to be cleaning up after their pets very well. The price was fair but then there were a lot of extra fees added on that seemed unusual and excessive. $5 for a second dog, a fee for using our credit card to pay and some kind of an extra sewer tax added on. I have not been charged these extra fees anywhere else I have stayed. For the people who complained about the noise, look at the map, it is right next to highway 101 and I didn't find the noise excessive. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
