For Valley Of The Rogue State Park: Convenient for a one night stay as just off the I-5 - this also means highway noise always present.
Good size level sites but little privacy. Campground clean and bathrooms in loop C were clean and well maintained.

For Valley Of The Rogue State Park: This was a stop and go for us. We arrived in late afternoon and left the next day at the break of dawn (in transit to DL). The bathrooms were fine. The site was nice ( I picked a back lot away from the hwy). You can hear the Hwy, but with the proximity, go figure. It didn't bother us. The river was so refreshing after the drive. It is not a swimming river where we accessed it. I don't recommend parents letting young kids near it with out supervision. It is fast water and quick cold (early July melt water?). Apprearantly there is a better location for swimming near the boat ramp. We didn't assess that part though. Certainly worked nicely with a lawn chair dangling my feet.

For Valley Of The Rogue State Park: We have tented here about 3 years ago and found it nice, clean, well maintained. We stayed here Easter, 2017, this time in a trailer. Not sure what transpired, but the place has gone down hill amazingly, or rather disgustingly. The grounds are overgrown, it seems trees are dead or dying, the picnic tables need replacement, the fire rings need help...what is going on? It looks like there are a number of long stay rigs not in the best of shape. The rest room/shower bldg in Loop D say closed due to maintenance. Looks like everything needs maintenance. Not sure I would recommend this SP anymore. Sad.

For Valley Of The Rogue State Park: Stayed 1 night in a yurt for $40. Sleeps 5 with lights, electric, picnic table & fire ring. Sites are clean & well spaced. Nice bathrooms & free showers. Next to the Rogue River with bike & walking paths. Some highway noise but highly recommended.

Tamara

For Valley Of The Rogue State Park: This would have five stars if it weren't so close to I-5. The tent sites are the closest to the freeway unfortunately, so it's worth paying the extra $8 for a site with water and electric to be further away. We liked F loop because the sites weren't too crowded together and there was good shade. Clean bathrooms and an easy walk to the river. There's also a paved bike path that runs through the park and to surrounding towns, including 2.5 mi to Rogue River to grab supplies aka beer. :)

Melody

For Valley Of The Rogue State Park: This is a delightful campground. The sites are very roomy and the services all worked very well. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. The campground is on the river's edge and has a trail that lets you walk along the river. I-5 is close to the campground so try to find a site in the back. We didn't hear traffic in the backside of D loop.

Deb

For Valley Of The Rogue State Park: The highway traffic noise is a deal breaker for us. Has nice sites, clean facilities, fun bike trail, but the noise level from I-5 is pretty fierce.
