For Fort Stevens State Park: We stayed in loop M for three nights. There are miles of lovely shaded and paved paths, pretty good privacy between spots in our loop (not all), full hookups. We had a lot of fun exploring and walking around. The history at the nearby museum is a must. Bring bikes. We wish we would have brought fishing tackle for the lake in the camp (it’s way bigger than we expected) as well as rain clothes because it was very soggy during our August stay. We will be back!

For Fort Stevens State Park: If you like kids riding and weaving electric bikes, scooters, skateboards, one wheel on all roads not paying attention and running amok, this is place for you. Good for one or two nites. Sides in L loop very tight and very crowded. Nice area to explore and tried to get away from campsite as much as possible due to traffic from all the electric toys being used by 8-40 year olds. Seemed very urban and noisy. Rangers not helpful. We were told to call Local police?????Won’t be back.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Very nice park with several loops. We found D and J loops to be very tight (sites very close to each other) and we only have a 18.5ft Sprinter van. We elected to change to site M26 near the yurts and cabins and much preferred it. Larger sites, more privacy, nestled in lovely wooded areas. Agree with other reviews that cell service is nearly non existent with AT&T. We didn’t use showers so can’t report.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Great little park - great for hikers bikers beach goers and history buffs- we were in site n36 - the only bad thing is the bugs. One other thing att is 0-1 bar

For Fort Stevens State Park: This is a huge park with plenty of amenities. Close to both Astoria and Seaside so getting summer reservations may be hard. The battery area is very fun to explore and there are trails everywhere! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is cell service is basically non-existent for Verizon. You can make a call but no internet so bring your books and do your local planning before you get here!

For Fort Stevens State Park: This is a great state park. My only negative was that we had no Verizon (we were in M08). Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay. We had a mostly private space. We were able to take the dogs to the lake which they loved. Got some great walks in, and the kids loved running around the gun batteries.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Stayed two nights site F-236 March 19, 20, 2020 in a truck camper. Given that the Oregon State Parks are closing soon because of the virus scare this park was busy and full of families enjoying themselves. This is a big camping park ,however, the smaller loop arrangement makes it more pleasant. Road in F loop was tight and backing 20+ trailers into small but paved spaces was challenging (and fun to watch). My camper filled my slot and although it was paved it was not level. Only electric in this loop with very weak Verizon and I did not even try to use satellite. This site is in midst of lovely old growth forest. Beach was about a mile off and was being enjoyed. A park road lead to point where you in theory could see the Columbia River but construction on a jetty pretty much blocked the view. I did not use facilities at park. Staff were helpful and pleasant. .
