For KOA Journey Bandon Port Orford: This is a nice KOA that is situated in a beautiful clean wooden area. We didn’t use the campground restroom so I can’t speak to that. I’m wondering why this KOA is just listed as a journey. It has a pool with a hot tub and they offer pancake breakfast and ice cream social events on the weekends. There was also a little train that came around daily for kids to enjoy through the park. And right on the Pacific Coast highway! Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

For KOA Journey Bandon Port Orford: This park is beautiful. Totally wooded and enchanting. No road noise. The pet trail is like walking through a fairytale. I would definitely return.

For KOA Journey Bandon Port Orford: We stayed here September 3 through 6, 2021. I agree totally with Kimberly’s assessment. The trees do tend to block out the sun and retain campfire smoke, but it did feel like a campground not an RV parking lot.

Kimberly Guth

For KOA Journey Bandon Port Orford: This is not your standard KOA. I’m giving it a higher rating because I really enjoyed the more rustic camping feel of this park. More camping, less RV park! You’re not right on top of your neighbors like is so common in KOA. The sites could definitely use some leveling work. Good staff and the park was quiet. Would recommend and would stay again.

For KOA Journey Bandon Port Orford: Hard to believe there are no reviews for this park! We stayed 4 nights in our 37’ MH towing to explore the area. The people are nice and their entrance area where the pool is located is nice, but wow, is there ever a lot of work to be done here! There are some spots with new gravel but it is mostly dirt, so it is always dusty. We had a pull through and with our slides out we are still touching bushes and our outdoor space is small and claustrophobic. At the end of the drive by the dog park there are portable toilets! Even the smell of chemicals was overwhelming. Most sites are unlevel, dusty and overgrown. We have stayed up and down the coast in every kind of park and this is on the bottom of our list. The only way we would stay again is if they cleaned up the park, leveled the sites, and brought in a lot of gravel.
