John

For Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area: Very nice state park, we stayed end of Aug in a full hook up site. We're in a 33' motorhome and just fit. Tight spots but very scenic. Will definity stay again.

For Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area: An easy stop, right off 84. Clean camp site, did not check out facilities. Bring your earplugs as literally camping off the freeway frontage.

For Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area: Beautiful campground. Good spacing so you are not on top of one another. Well maintained. Surrounded by old growth trees. The traffic noise is an issue. When reserving try to book inside loop instead of next to road. Also no dump at the campground but one at the rest area a mile or so down the road. Would recommend to anyone passing through this way.

CeeCee

For Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area: This is a lovely park, visually speaking. Verizon service is great due to being at the top of the hill. We stayed here in a motorhome. The three stars is because the frontage road is about 75’ away and the freeway is beyond that. We can see them plainly through the thin belt of trees that shield the park from the roads. The noise interfered a little with campfire conversation. It might bother those camping in tents a lot more. That said, the noise is mainly “white”—no jake brakes or straining engines. This park is usually full in the summer. If you stay here, don’t miss going to see the viewpoint about 3 miles away. Completely different from the viewpoint off the freeway.

Tgut

For Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area: Our favorite place to stay as an overnight stop along the way, but the road noise might be troublesome for some. Nice and clean with fhu. Great looking camp for people traveling with horses.

Nizz

For Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area: Bring earplugs. It's a lovely spot, clean, showers, big tall trees, level spots...but like camping on the freeway median! MAJOR TRUCK SHIPPING FREEWAY, right alongside campground. I will boondock on BLM land before ever staying here again. If you are hard of hearing, very noise tolerant, or have really good earplugs...then I can recommend it. Otherwise, pass it up.
