For Tollbridge Park: We arrived on a August Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of spots available. We decided on site 82 which is a tent space right next to the river. If you don’t mind dry camping this spot is awesome. The sound of the water was super relaxing and there aren’t a ton of other spots around. You are close to the entrance so that could get noisy. We didn’t hear much traffic though. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well managed.

For Tollbridge Park: We stumbled on this campground looking for a place to stay having rejected a couple of Sno Parks in Government Camp. The sites that are on the East Branch Hood River are excellent. We sat along the rushing River and could hear it through the night with the windows open. Having electric and water was a bonus. We would have stayed another night if we did not have reservations in Cascade Locks OR. We were in site 65 with our 31 ft. class C Motorhome with tow car.

MS

For Tollbridge Park: We were going to passing through the area on Wednesday July 12, 2017. So, on July 11, I searched Allstays for camping. We saw lovely reviews on this park and hoped if we arrived early we could find a river site location from someone who would be departing.
There is a big white board at the entrance that shows R for reserved date on sites but no info on departure date. No camphost was available to talk to.
We drove through to see the layout and to check on river sites. You have to physically get out of your vehicle to see the departure date on a small paper attached to the site posts. A larger plastic enclosed paper showed EVERY single site was reserved for the future and if someone chose to stay in that site prior to the reservations there was the tiny tag that read THEIR departure date. It was such a strange process and very frustrating. You cannot call and talk to anyone so you have to physically go there perhaps only to see that they are full.
We saw one site that looked available so we decided to dump the tank and go back to the site to set up and pay.
The camp host quickly became available then! She drove over in her golf cart to ask us what we were doing there. We explained and asked about the river site we thought was available. She said that site was tent only and if we didn't find another site it would be $25.00 to dump. She took me to a site that would work, but she was very difficult. The site she gave us had a place to park our truck but she said we had to move it down the road by the dumpsters. It is peaceful by the river but as mentioned before there is no point if you are not near the river.

For Tollbridge Park: Pretty park, on the Hood River. If you want to enjoy the river, you need to reserve a site on the river, because otherwise, there is very limited access to it. There aren't any hiking trails in or out of the park, so, unless all you want to do is sit, this park might get a little boring. The restrooms were clean. The camp host was very nice and accommodating. I'd come again, for a short stay, if I could get a site on the river.

For Tollbridge Park:

Tollbridge Campground - Hood River (Mount Hood) September 7, 2015

$29. water/power Right on River - Breathtaking
Travelled through OR for 3 weeks. This was our favourite.
No cell service.
Most beautiful site ever. (Steelhead trout spawning and we could watch them jump up the river)
Had our own private beach.
(Showers & Bathrooms 5 out of 10)
Hosts were very friendly.
(don't confuse this campground with Bridge Campground)
Definately will return.

For Tollbridge Park: Nice forest area. Trees are nice and old but they block reception.
