For Beverly Beach State Park: This is a very large campground with over 200 sites. The closest loop is the oldest and original part of the campground. The Allstays description says that there is cable TV. This is technically correct, however, there are only a couple of sites with cable hook ups. The grounds are well kept, the showers were hot, clean and had fantastic pressure. The site are a little close for a state park, but most of them appeared to be fairly level. There are several camp hosts. The cons are that the four nights we stayed here, there was pot smoke most of the day, every day as it wafts through the camp site. I was told by staff there is nothing they can do about it since it’s legal in Oregon. The other con is it is about a half mile to the trash compactor out near the entrance by the ranger station. There are no trash cans or dumpsters in the campground. I will not be back because of the everyday nuisance and smell of the pot.

For Beverly Beach State Park: From their website: Beverly Beach State Park day use, campground and group meeting yurt will be closed for construction beginning Sept. 5, 2023 with a goal to reopen the campground in summer of 2024.

SoCal Traveler

For Beverly Beach State Park: This is one of our favorite spots we have found during our two years of travel, only wish we had planned our trip so we could have stayed here longer. We had a pull-thru site (lucky though because it was the only site available to us the night before on the web site), so may want to plan ahead. Our site was pretty level (looked like all sites are asphalt) and easy to get in and out of. Our campsite had a picnic table, fire pit, small open grass field and lots of trees. We felt relatively secluded when we were outside in our camping area. As mentioned by another review, the beach is very long and open which does lead to a very nice walk. The camp people we spoke with were very pleasant and kind. When we are back on the Oregon coast, we will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Happy Camper

For Beverly Beach State Park: One of our favorite places to go all year around. The people are friendly, the beach is long so you can find your own spot and the trees are out of a fairytale.

Maggie and Joe

For Beverly Beach State Park: We stayed here in November 2018. Very nice park, with friendly staff and park hosts. We had a pull through site with a fire ring and picnic table. You can buy firewood and ice in this park. The bathrooms were clean but unheated, making it difficult to shower and stay warm while you dressed. There was no cell reception unless you walked to the beach. The beach was accessible via a trail from the park underneath the highway. Nice sightseeing in the area - Yakinna Head Lighthouse, and lots to do in Newport. We would definitely stay here again. Check out our full review at Average Joe's RV Living blog.

Brent

For Beverly Beach State Park: Stayed here over Labor Day weekend. Large park, very full while I was there. Beautiful grounds! Stream running down one side of the park, with a steep hillside on the other. Easy access to the beach by going under a bridge from the campground. Newport is just a few miles to the south and Depoe Bay is just a few miles north. Would definitely stay here again.

camperqueenie

For Beverly Beach State Park: Access to the town of Newport and the beach are the main attractions here. Park is very large. Roads are narrow and sites are close together and small. People's RV's and vehicles are often sticking out into the road, making negotiating the campground loops difficult with or without your rig.

The park is heavily forested, so it is dark.

In general, people are courteous and quiet.

We stayed here in mid-September - shoulder season on weekday nights - but still the place was jumping.

Reservations, especially for RV sites, are highly recommended.
