For Cape Blanco State Park: I would give this park four stars if the dump site was open, so it gets three. Verizon LTE two-three bars! Site A9 allowed my portable Dish to connect. Older shower house with separate restrooms. Clean enough to use. The Cape Blanco Lighthouse ( which is part of the park property ) has tours Wednesday through Monday from 1000-1515. The lighthouse property is the most western property in the lower 48 states! Private sites with lots of trees. The road to the park has a few rough spots as you near the park. Too bad the dump site wasn't open on 4-19-18. Not a huge issue.

For Cape Blanco State Park: We were looking for a CG that would provide views of the ocean as well as hiking trails. We're self contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed weeknights in late August in our 25 foot MH.

This is a gorgeous CG on a bluff 240 feet above sea level. There are sites along the bluff with nice ocean views through the trees. Site A40 does not have a view, however, is very private and across the road from the trail to an overlook, beach, and trail system. Most of the sites are good sized with level asphalt pads. The CG map lists pad size for each site and they range from 30-80 feet. Most have trees for shade and privacy. The shower is clean with push button operation and hot water. There's no wifi. There's good Verizon and ATT coverage. The CG is clean and well maintained. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

The lighthouse, historic house and historic cemetery are interesting places to visit and are accessible by hiking trails or roads. There are several access trails to walk down to the beach. There are several picnic tables at common areas in the CG and along the trails with gorgeous views.

For Cape Blanco State Park: Great place! Nice hikes. Beach access. Private sites. Get there early. Not great for large rigs. Don't drive on the beach. Someone got stuck while we were there.
