For Jantzen Beach RV Park: A good selection if you are visiting Portland as this park is on an island in the Columbia River, the north end of Portland. You must remember that this is an urban campground thus while the park is clean it has drawbacks which should be expected in a city setting. The sites are small, but you are not stacked on top of each other like the RV Parks in Las Vegas. There is noise from the jet path for the airport and ships on the river, just come with earplugs. I live in a very quiet rural area and with earplugs I slept just fine.

My check-in experience was good (others have reported unfriendly staff), but I had no need for other staff interaction during my 4 day stay. Others have complained about Cable TV not working...I was told by the staff upon arrival that if I don't have a Digital Ready TV the cable won't work and the staff offered a converter box if needed.

I gave this park 3 stars because I prefer more site space and a more "campground" feel of a wooded location. However, it was perfect for 4 days of site-seeing Portland.
