For Lepage Park: This place is “ok” it’s really a place for fisherman to overnight most spots had boats in them. The fisherman next to us came back around 9pm and of course were pretty loud and then at 4am they fired up the diesel pickup to warm up for a bit before leaving. The water system is not operating at all (and if it was they are very clear that it’s not potable) so no dump station. Set back up a draw on the water (tributary of the Columbia) the issue is that road noise over the I-84 bridge echoed up to the campground. Closing the windows helped a little but the noise vibrates the camper. Throw in a train every few hours and it’s a bit annoying. OK for overnight but not much else.

For Lepage Park: This is our 4th Corp of Engineers campground. All of the campgrounds have been laid out nicely. Plenty of room between sites, some pull throughs. We had water and electric. Dump station close by. Right on the water, we took a very short walk to launch canoe. Public boat dock very close. Pit toilets. They have planted trees that will mature nicely in a few years to provide shade.

For Lepage Park: Nice COE Park. Generous sized pull through sites and back-in sites. Very nice beach and park. No noise problems from the freeway or railroad. Park is located next to the John Day River and confluence to the Columbia River. All sites are paved and level. Each site has water and power. Park has a central dump station.

Note: Take exit 114 from I84 to access the park.
