For Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground: The name of this campground reflects the fact that all the sites are nicely tucked into a thickly wooded forest. Some of the roads are tight, and when we arrived the road to our site was badly washed out and rutted. I needed to use FWD to smoothly access my campsite. To their credit, a couple days later the campground staff performed grading operations and repaired the roads. Our site was slanted in both dimensions and I used all my leveling blocks to achieve level. Utility connections were conveniently placed. The WiFi was available for purchase for a modest price, but access slowed considerably when the park became fully occupied. Also during full occupancy the power at my site fluctuated wildly and my EMS repeatedly shut off my power due to low voltage. I reported the issue to the management and they claimed I was the only camper with a problem, but they also assured me that they would investigate the issue. I suspect the campground electrical system was not designed to handle full occupancy, and most campers who did not have an EMS were blissfully unaware their electronics were being abused by an inadequate power supply. Later, the management informed me that they remedied the issue, and indeed the power stabilized. But I think it stabilized because many campers checked out that day. If you camp here, use an EMS or be aware you may be damaging components in your rig.

For Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground: First and Foremost, the staff are really friendly. We needed an RV hook-up and a cabin for an overnight visit with family and they were very accommodating. It was late in the season so she let us rent the cabin without holding us to the two-night minimum. Like many campgrounds, it was all gravel roads and the sites were pretty close together. We navigated our Class C without issue into our pull-thru spot. Fifth wheels and trailers will need a lot more skill to back in to some the sites we saw. A lot of folks renting spots year-round and setup for long term so many regulars there. The cabin our family used was very clean and comfortable. The mattress was a little hard but the small space heater the front desk gave us to use, at no cost, kept it real warm on a really chilly night. It was okay. I just like campgrounds that spread folks out a little more.
