For Rocky Springs Campground: We stayed at site 113 from 6/27 to 7/4. Site is graveled, flat and in the trees. Has a nice pool, nice bathhouse and playground, plenty of area to walk. A lot of seasonal campsites. Sites are located up on a hill, back in the woods, close to Outlets, Amish area, I-80 and several small towns. You can hear I-80 in the distance. Great getaway campground. We have stayed before and we will stay again.

For Rocky Springs Campground: Clean, lots of trees, nicely landscaped and very friendly and helpful owners who run it. We reserved for 2 nights, but extended our stay for 2 more. (October 9-12, 2021) and

For Rocky Springs Campground: Real rating is a 4.5. We have enjoyed this campground immensely and everything in prior reviews is accurate. Our ONLY nit is that the gravel they used to stabilize the roads is excellent for stabilizing roads where the traffic compacts the center but is not excellent to walk on uncompacted on road edges, driveway sites, and patios. It would be nice if they could bring in a roller that would compact those areas too to make it easier to walk.

For Rocky Springs Campground: Beautiful family owned park on a hillside with very spacious sites and full hook ups. Several seasonal but you would never know it. They have guidelines for seasonals. Very quiet and serenepark with a heated pool, clean restrooms and showers, fishing pond and even a track for remote control cars. Not much bike riding here due to the hills but easy to maneuver in our Cl A motorhome with a tow. Park is gated and has a small store with all necessities. A nice clean laundry also available. We stayed here 7/10-12/2021 in our Cl A MH. Highly recommended.

For Rocky Springs Campground: We stayed at site 113 from 5/20/21 - 5/25/21. When we checked in Debbie said that this park would raise the bar on RV parks. I agree, this park is very nice. Debbie was extremely helpful, friendly and personable. The park store had a little bit of everything. The roads are all compacted gravel and well maintained. They come around a couple times a day to pick-up garbage and check on everyone. Debbie led us to our site and directed us in. She placed us perfectly on the site. There are two sewer drains, one mid site and one at the back. Our site was level, we did not need any leveling blocks, just extended our stabilizers. Water pressure was good and the 50 amp service had no issues. WIFI is avg, air antenna picked up about 20 TV stations, 6 were HD. Verizon service had about 2 bars. We did not use any of the facilities. The picnic table was in good condition and sturdy. The fire ring was also nice. Our site was protected by large oak and cherry trees, shaded entirely. The site was about 30' x 100' with plenty of gravel and grass area for pets. Sites are spaced out very well and there are only about 10 overnight sites, the rest are seasonal. Our last 2 nights, Sunday and Monday, we were the only ones at our end of the park. It was very quiet, you could hear the truck traffic on I-80 in the distance. We would stay again. FOLLOW THE WEBSITE DIRECTIONS! There was a 10% and 13% grade on the state route to the park.

SukasMom

For Rocky Springs Campground: This place is a hidden gem. The grounds are wooded, nicely landscaped, and immaculate. The sites are gravel and relatively level. Full-hookup sites have two dump locations to accommodate those rigs that have the tank drain in the middle of the rig. Sites are widely spaced and staggered so that you barely notice your neighbors. It's so far from the highway (5 miles) that it is QUIET. We are picky, but we loved the place. There isn't much to do for kids that I could see (I didn't look very hard) aside from a nice trout pond and a clean swimming pool. I think the campground is oriented toward people who like to enjoy nature. The owners are friendly and informative. While there are seasonal sites, they are surprisingly few, so I can only assume that this place has not yet been discovered.
Note that our GPS thought the campground was located in downtown Mercer. Good thing there were signs in town alerting us to the turn we needed to make. PA318 has one interesting section with a 9% downgrade followed by a 13% upgrade (reversed on the way out). They were short, and can be easily managed by downshifting, but they were a bit of a surprise to us.
We would definitely return to Rocky Springs and would probably stay a few days next time.

For Rocky Springs Campground: Very nice campground with friendly owners/hosts. Off the beaten path but worth the drive. Grounds are immaculate with level, well-graded gravel sites. Canopy of trees for shade and wide spaces so you are not on top of your neighbor. Bathrooms and showers are clean with private changing area for each shower. We stayed one night in a motorhome while passing through the area. Would be nice for a longer stay and some of the sites appear to have seasonal leases.
