For Allegheny River Campground: This was our first camping site for the year as we tried out our new rig. We have wanted to visit the Kinzua Bridge and Cherry Springs State Park for a while, so we searched on the AllStays app for something nearby with honest reviews. The Allegheny River Campground is a gem. Clean, leveled sites and spacious. We have a 33ft A class and were towing our car, so we started at a pull thru site first, knowing that it was unavailable a few days later, but that gave us some time to see if we wanted to stay longer and try out a different site. We stayed a few days more and moved to a back-in site by the river. Again…spacious and clean. The only drawback at the second site…and it is nothing that the owners can do…is that there must be a gun range nearby or a property owner that likes to target practice a lot. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us to leave, but the gunshot noises scared our pup a lot as it went on for a few hours a day. We just packed up the car with the pup and went exploring for the day and all was well. The owners are very nice and they take extremely great care of their property. There is a lot to do for the kids outside. Wi-Fi is spotty in these rural areas, so its a great time for the kids to go swimming, fishing and bike riding instead of being on electronics anyway. Book this place…you’ll enjoy it!

For Allegheny River Campground: Stayed Thursday 8/17/20 - Wednesday 9/2/20 in site 53. We have a Keystone Cougar 30RLS pulled by F-350. Site was graveled and level, no extra leveling devices needed. Nice grass sites with nice picnic table. W/S/50amp site. WIFI was good, cell service was okay. Bathroom/Shower House clean. Well maintained and clean campground, American flags flying at all seasonal sites. Firewood $7.50 15-20 pcs, Ice $2.50 10lbs. Allegheny River ranged 25' - 50' wide, 6" - 1' deep. Day trips to PA Grand Canyon, Lyman State Park, Kinzua Bridge State Park, Benezette (Elk viewing).

For Allegheny River Campground: Fabulous campground. Don't know what there is not to like about this place! Very well-maintained, great internet, nice playground for the kids, friendly owners, very nice pool, good fishing in the river......tubing in the river is fun. All-around nice family oriented campground.
