For Newport RV Park: It is now a county park called Newport RV Park. This park surprised me. I was expecting a parking lot in such a densely populated area, but this is pretty spread out. The sites within 3 or 4 of site 211 have the most trees and room, though most sites are big. The bath house is ok. The park is certainly close to everything here and still pretty quiet.

For Newport RV Park: Good park. Sites were level. Even an ice cream truck at night. Don’t try to come in early. They’re tough on that. Very clean.

For Newport RV Park: Great spot! Very close to Newport and the beaches. Our site was in among some good sized trees and was fairly level. Bathroom/shower combination private rooms were nice. Laundry facility is small but functional. Wi-Fi was good. We would stay here again!

For Newport RV Park: Great find. Central location for everything ... beaches, nautical, historical, and of course Mansions. The park and facilities were clean, the electric is fairly new with 20, 30 & 50 Amp at every site plus cable TV, water and sewer. Would come again.

For Newport RV Park: Stayed mid week June 2017 before school summer vacation so campground was only half full. We have a class b van and had a lovely wooded spot. Very level with water, electric, sewer and cable. Both 50 and 30 amps on the box. Very clean restrooms as previous reviewer mentioned. They have made upgrades and it shows. Playground, laundry, wood for $7 bundle. Propane available. Our site was $65/night. Seems pricey, but everything around this area is. About 20 min drive into Newport but try Rail Explorers nearby. Free WiFi which came in with a strong signal at our site.

For Newport RV Park: This is a really nice county park with newer shower houses and restrooms. They built a new building with six separate doors each providing a private shower and restroom with soft close toilet seats. Family bathrooms too. Laundry building, playground and staff that are very nice and helpful. We had an Amazon delivery to the campground address and they called me when the package arrived. Thanks! Roads are gravel with a few bumps along the way but overall easy in and out. The water supply was on the wrong side but my 25 foot waterhose worked I'd stay here in a heartbeat when visiting this area. Park wifi was very good at site 112. Verizon was 2-3 dot LTE. I picked up about 30 channels over the air. I saw large 5th wheels and class A's in the park. Newport mansions are 20-25 minutes away during the tourist season. I drove my Chinook Concourse into town and had no problem finding parking spots.

Braden

For Newport RV Park: What a great find! Rustic camping. No cable. No Internet. E/W sites available. Bring long hoses and power cords because hooks up are in opposite corners on some sites. Sites are pretty level. Gravel roads. Sandy point beach is a 6 minute drive and with your camping ticket access is only $5. Tip: you can drive onto the beach to unload your stuff and then go park in the lot!
