Pete

For Lee State Park: Agree with CDC review below. This park ranks well with others in the Florence area. We will stay here again. You CAN book a one night stay, but only on the day of your stay through the camp office.

CDC

For Lee State Park: Level sites well away from the interstate. Sites are gravel but roads are packed sand. Water and electric but a few full hookup sites. Pleasant canopy of tall pines. The artesian wells were interesting. State won’t let you book a site for a single night , two night minimum. You don’t need a horse to book a site in the equestrian loop.

Grampaloren

For Lee State Park: Quiet, shaded campground in the pine trees. River bottom area so everything is sandy and flat. Restrooms/Showers are a little old but clean with lots of hot water. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Bishopville is close and big enough for most needs. Some sites, especially in the inner circle, will have standing water after a rain. Full hook up sites and Equestrian area seemed drier. I'd say 5 stars except for the water drainage issue.
