For Colleton State Park: Lovely small park. Not a great deal of privacy but lots of good RV sites. All the services and facilities were wonderful. As was the manager of the park. .Even the bath house was clean and air-conditioned. The small river beside the camp was great for anyone with a fishing pole or a small boat. We did not walk the trails as there were warnings about alligators so we were happy to skip that part. Even the bath house was clean and air-conditioned. The small river beside the camp was great for anyone with a fishing pole or a small boat. We did not walk the trails as there were warnings about alligators so we were happy to skip that part. The wildlife was impressive with a family of owls and small armadillos. The park is very close to the highway, gas stations, and a Walmart is just 9 miles away. We would visit again for another overnight stay.

Peace Mobile

For Colleton State Park: Stopped here for just one night. Normally the park requites a 2 night minimum stay but got lucky and they had one space available for one night. If this is the case you must contact the park directly. The ranger is only in the office for a short period of time but if you leave a message they will get back with you. The ranger will probably not be in the office when you arrive but the camp host will check you in. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms were old but clean. Site was level and clean. Sites along Hwy 15 had road noise (could see the hwy) . Some sites have a view of the river. Good OTA TV reception Wasn't there long enough to check out the rest of the park

For Colleton State Park: This small, charming, and reasonably priced State Park is close enough to I-95 to be a convenient overnight stop while far enough away not to hear the interstate. The Campground Host and Park Ranger are both friendly and helpful.

For Colleton State Park: Stayed here on March 22, 2016. Small park, nice sites, inexpensive, and pretty. We were here one night while traveling north on 95. It's a convenient stopping place and will stay here again when in the area. Nice hiking trails and shaded sites. Bathrooms were clean.
