Sue

For Bass Lake RV Campground: We pulled into this adorable cg and found that the suspension on our 5er was broken. Wanda in the office provided several names of repair companies. She’s a real gem...we were in our way to Virginia for a wedding and had to leave our rig there. Guy and Julie (the owners) along with Wanda were very accommodating and let us leave it there until repairs could be completed. Long story short, we were set up there for a total of 7 days. Always a smile and a willingness to chat which eased our nerves. Very clean place and friendly folks! Only downside is no cable tv. We will definitely return, as we have made some new friends there...and you will, too!

For Bass Lake RV Campground: this campground is right off Route 95, so easy on and off. However, the highway is right there and you can hear the noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a facility to refill propane. The campground is very sparse, and not pretty at all. Most campers seem to be seasonal. The restrooms are clean and heated, and the showers are hot with good pressure. They have benches and hooks. laundry room is clean with two washers and two dryers. Free standing sinks in the restroom, with no shelf or hooks, therefore no where to put your things except on the floor. There is a small playground but the railroad ties around it are decaying, which might bother some people. The price is very reasonable, and it is an okay place stay 1 or 2 nights.

For Bass Lake RV Campground: very disappointed. No wifi(who ever heard of limiting users to so few, couldn't pick up a network signal outside or inside, and when we could, the password didn't work). The only suggestion was come to the office where the signal is strong to check your email.) no cable. Sand lots. Spotty signal for the antennae. No hot water at the sink in the bath house. $31.

Bob

For Bass Lake RV Campground: Interstate noise is low. Very clean bath facility and nice setting. Disappointed there was no wifi or cable connection. Ok for overnight stay

New to RVing

For Bass Lake RV Campground: Great little place to stop for the night. Just off the interstate but did not hear the traffic noise. The only problem was that they had a lot of ants.
