For Huntington Beach State Park: A very nice state park! Spaces are large and level. Bathrooms were clean. Gift shop and office was very nice and new. Boardwalk to the ocean was nice and centrally located. Beach was beautiful and hardly anyone was around! Enjoyed our tour of the castle on premesis. Bike riding was nice - except for the lack of a bike trail at the entrance gate area. Lots of piers and boardwalks to explore with information about local wildlife. Two dump areas made it nice so we didn't have to wait in line to dump. Only regrets were the wood we bought at the office ended up being wet and wouldn't burn and the weather turned off exceptionally cold when we were there so we weren't able to enjoy the beach as much as we would have liked. We enjoyed two nights here and would love to come back!

For Huntington Beach State Park: Beautiful campground! They should all be like this! Nice big level sites, nice grass all around! Clean.

Signage at the road is very bad, sign at park entrance says, Atalaya Holiday celebration don't know what that means?? No mention of the park??? Drove by twice with a MH & tow vechile, ?? ?? ??. There is a park sign a ways from the entrance well off the highway in the woods??

For Huntington Beach State Park: Very nice park, spacious sites with easy beach access. Walking trails and a nice gift shop as well. Site 5 is a gem!

Shirley

For Huntington Beach State Park: We stayed here in March 15'. Loved it! No problems at all! Close enough to everything! Also full but very quiet! Very clean facilities! Just a short walk to the beach!! Definitely will return!

Eric

For Huntington Beach State Park: Great campground! Friendly staff! We stayed at site 3 in February for 2 nights which had easy access to the beach (not that we were on the beach that much since it was pretty chilly). We didn't use the bathhouses any, but they looked ok from a distance. Definitely will return! The castle was neat, but we did not tour it inside, just walked around the outside. Happy Camping!

Brooks

For Huntington Beach State Park: Very nice and clean. Wonderful beach that allows dogs. You can almost have the beach to yourself during February mid-week. One warning, a little tight for a bigger 40ft rigs and Hwy 17S at the entrance can be very busy at times. Over-all good.
