For Myrtle Beach State Park: We stayed in the park about a week as we had appointments in the area. The entire park is very shady, even in winter. It is a short walk up to ocean and the dunes. Road in is twisty and narrow, but just required patience. I'm a brand new driver and our rig is 39'. Services were fine, wi-fi was weak, but serviceable for mail, etc. On site camp store is handy and the help was friendly and obliging. One of the camp hosts interrupted his dinner to track down somebody to fix our furnace as it was going to be 24 that night.

I would stay here again, I imagine it is spectacular in the warmer months.

For Myrtle Beach State Park: We stayed here in March 2015. The park and campground was very well maintained and clean. I had no trouble with the site but bare in mind I was pulling a small 10ft camper. In my opinion the sites had plenty of room and we were not cramped at all. The beach is a nice walk but we took our vehicle and parked in the parking area. Just a reminder there are no lifeguards on duty so keep an eye out on small children. A nice pier for walking or fishing. The bathhouse was clean and nice HOT showers. Btw...no noisy golf carts running up and down the roads. No cable but that was no problem. Wifi was good. All in all very enjoyable. We will come back.

For Myrtle Beach State Park: The park itself is nicely laid out with plenty of parking at the beach and fishing pier area. Nighttime lighting in those areas are good with enough light to walk to and from the campgrounds to the pier and beach. Wifi was so-so for me so I just stayed on cellular which was strong with Verizon. Nice campground store with a good variety of items. The sites were very close to each other and the hookups were placed in an odd position in relation to backing straight in. You back in and then turn a little to lineup with the hookups. Not a big deal but different. Full hookups are available and the off season price is right too. Sunday to Thursday is $24.00 and a few dollars more for the weekend. The beach is walking distance from the camping area and the pier is a great feature. Several washrooms were noted as we drove and walked around. No cable and spotty wifi.

For Myrtle Beach State Park: Great location, nice sites. Is close to airport, but not many large late night flights.
