For Camp Pedro: SOB has added a new section that is more open than the older section. This is good for satellite reception. The gated entrance is nice too. All utilities are new and work well. The asphalt sites are 75+ feet long, narrow but sufficient. The new sites range from level to sloped. It is amazing that someone would spend this much money and make the sites so unleveled that the front wheels of big rigs are off the ground. Some sites are high in the middle and slope down in both directions. A great new section is hit or miss for a big rig. It is a shame the developer did not get some advice before building. The sites in the old section are much more level. Could not get a good Verizon signal. US Cellular worked well. Checkin quick and efficient. a

For Camp Pedro: So the ONLY reason to stop here was it was cheap, clean and quiet. Non of those apply any longer. Several sites with too much junk on them, rates are up nearly 50 percent, dirt bikes and 4 wheelers with very young kids riding, running up and down the road, something that was never tolerated in the past. Dogs tied to trees barking a good portion of the day, (we are dog owners) It seems to us they are catering more to the moto cross crowd and less to the everyone else, its a shame, but it was good while it lasted, So long Pedro

For Camp Pedro: Very nice campground. Probably will always stay here on trips north and back south. Paved pull through site for vehicle with plenty of grass and very large site. We paid $44.50 for a full service 30 amp site and we had hook ups on both sides of the RV. We could walk to all th Pedro attractions. Our site was shaded. Use off of 95 within the Pedro South of the Border buildings. The Lady answered the phone on the first ring and was here to greet us when we arrived at 7 pm. They have a discount for military, Good Sam, aarp etc. the campground looks like it was recently remodeled. We arrived during a large downpour and the campground was dry.

For Camp Pedro: Price raised to $45! We used to stop here on marathons from FL yo VA. At $30 it was tolerable because it was easy & the bathrooms, although old, were clean. For $45 we'll go up the road to the fancy RV resort!

For Camp Pedro: Nice well maintained park. The only negative was the Wi-Fi as it was basically non existent.
Will be back.
