For American Creek Campground: Amazing views from your camper right on the Missouri River; only thing my wife and I didn’t care for was all the traffic coming through (walkers and vehicles). Overall a great experience!

For American Creek Campground: Great campground on the river. Sites were mostly level. There is a playground and boat ramp. Approaching from the North, make sure you check your speed as you come down the hill into town, it is easy to carry too much speed down the hill. We had a full hookup site. Lots of trees. Some of the sites have more room than others. Choose carefully. Did not use the restrooms or showers. Camp was not crowded when we visited around Columbus day. Our site had a grill and picnic table but others did not.
Would stay again.

For American Creek Campground: Very nice campground along the Missouri River. We had shady, level back-in site with water and electric. No sewer hook ups or WiFi. Nice walking area along the river that terminates in a local park with playground and beach. Restrooms were clean and adequate. Nothing fancy there but plentiful hot water.
