For Rafter J - Bar Ranch: Awesome RV Park. The park is huge and has beautiful views of the mountains and it's close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. It's off the highway and lots of sites have large trees. The sites are big and level. We stayed in our 43' 5th-wheel and both our truck and camper fit in our site with room for another vehicle. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area. The wi-if was just okay.

For Rafter J - Bar Ranch: Good location. Sites are spaced out, some with trees. Lots of kids. No ota tv. Cell service good. Wifi poor. Pricey

For Rafter J - Bar Ranch: Very nice resort. Parked our 23' Airstream up in the trees. Quiet, well maintained nicely spaced sites. Did have to use levelers. Pool is vegry nice, store is well stocked, ice cream, pizza, beer, pop, milk, etc.

For Rafter J - Bar Ranch: This is a superb resort. It is beautifully kept, with large sites and lots of amenities. It is a huge property with several camping areas, each with different characteristics. The staff encouraged us to look around for the best available site. Great location for exploring the Black Hills.

For Rafter J - Bar Ranch: We could not get in this year as they were completely booked on the dates we were going to be in Hill City but we did stay here in years past. It's by far our favorite place in the hills. A bit pricey but you know your getting a great experience. This the only campground I would give a five star rating as they seem to do an excellent job in keeping everything well maintained and especially clean. Our favorite spot is on the west side which has nice shade trees and more secluded from the busier part of the campground. We'll definitely make sure we get reservations next time. Right off the Michelson bike trail that you can ride a few miles into town.

Chase
For Rafter J - Bar Ranch: Great resort. Staff very helpful. We had decided to extend out stay but the site we were on was reserved. The staff went out of there way to help us decide on a new site to the extent of driving us to several available sites. The sites are well spaced with great views and vistas across open meadows. One of the best parks we have visited in our travels.
